Wedding Photography at Willington Hall, Cheshire
This time last week I was photographing Hannah and Nick’s gorgeous wedding at Willington Hall! It was a glorious day, one of the hottest of the year! Hannah was the most chilled out and relaxed bride I’ve ever photographed, she had a constant smile on her face and was laughing all day, which made everyone around her smile and laugh too. This made the whole wedding day just so enjoyable for everyone there! Not to mention that she look absolutely stunning! Nick looked great too!
Willington Hall is such a lovely venue, it’s family run and is set within 17 acres of gorgeous land and gardens! The views really are to die for. We were so spoilt for choice when it came to doing the couple photos! Both Hannah and Nick are from a musical background so there were members of the Philharmonic Choir singing beautifully during the ceremony and drinks which was amazing! They had an epic live band for the reception and they did their first dance to ‘Feeling Good!’ Amazing!
This wedding was a very special one for me to photograph. I’ve known Hannah since I studied music at Liverpool Hope University. Hannah used to run the lunch time concerts and write the newsletter. One day she approached me and asked if I’d like to take photos of the concerts and various other things in the music department as she knew I had a camera. I was nervous at first as I’d never photographed people before, only flowers and animals. Doing this led to me photographing head shots for students and even bigger concerts and even the cornerstone festival that is held at the university. So I can actually say that without Hannah I might not be where I am today with my photography business and I will always be grateful to her for giving me those opportunities a few years ago. THANK YOU HANNAH! It was an honour to be able to photograph your wedding day.
What a gorgeous day at Willington Hall in Cheshire, I can’t wait to get all of their images edited so that they can relive their day again when they look at them! Also looking forward to returning to such a stunning venue hopefully one day!
